News Copyeditor Position

Responsibilities
--copy editing scripts and headlines for news programs
--giving suggestions for show edits
--ensuring objectivity
--copyediting TV news scripts and social media posts
--factchecking scripts
--ensuring copy adheres to the client’s organization and AP style
--translating (Mandarin to English) when needed
--approving computer graphics and final video edits

Applicants must:
- have a university degree and two years related experience
- be fluent in spoken and written English
- have a comprehensive understanding of Taiwan news
- have experience writing and editing scripts for television
- enjoy working in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
Proficiency in Mandarin, social media writing, and reporting a plus.
