Data Engineer

Data infrastructure is crucial for developing successful games and products. Rayark is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our data team. You will leverage your robust data engineering capabilities to design, construct, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines that will support game producers, designers, and operations executives in making data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for building efficient data solutions and a strong understanding of business needs.

1. Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to support data analytics needs.
2. Ensure the integrity, quality, and availability of data used across various teams within the organization.
3. Collaborate with data analysts, game designers, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective data architectures.
4. Transfer data from RDBMS and NoSQL databases to BigQuery.
5. Perform data integration from various sources, including APIs, third-party platforms, and internal systems.
6. Continuously research and apply the latest data engineering technologies and methodologies to improve data infrastructure.
7. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure reliable data delivery.
8. Support data analysts by providing the necessary tools and environments for data exploration and analysis.

1. Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Minimum 2 years of related work experiences
3. Proven experience in designing and developing scalable ETL pipelines and data architectures.
4. Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (RDBMS and NoSQL).
5. Experience with data warehousing solutions like BigQuery.
6. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Shell Script, Java, JavaScript, and jq for data processing.
7. Experience with Google Cloud technologies including Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Familiarity with data integration tools and practices.
10. Excellent communication skills and a team player.
11. Passion for games and understanding of the gaming industry.

1. Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud.
2. Experience with backend development or mobile app development.
3. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker.
4. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio.
5. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
6. Experience with Google Analytics and Firebase.
7. Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
8. Knowledge of machine learning and data science practices.
9. Relevant industry experience.
