★★ About the role:

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continually enhance robust and high-performance Python applications to meet evolving business requirements
• Lead code architecture discussions to ensure best practices are followed and maintainable solutions are implemented
• Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement AI models and algorithms, ensuring effective integration into applications and optimizing performance
• Conduct AI model performance testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability on applications
• Participate in team code reviews to uphold quality standards and mentor junior developers on code ethics
• Troubleshoot and collaborate with QA engineers to debug applications to ensure optimal performance
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in Python and AI
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive documentations for future reference and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in backend development on large-scale mission critical system applications
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
• Exposure to microservice architecture and RESTful API development
• Solid experience in least one of the following languages: Python, Golang
• Proficient with persistent database storage (ex. SQL or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for data indexing and search functionalities preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (ex. AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization solutions (ex. Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (ex. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Action) with hands-on
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Software Engineer
