Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data processing and integration.
• Collaborate with BotristaPro platform engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders across different functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement and optimize ETL(Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient data flow, using tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
• Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
• Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Utilize AWS cloud platforms (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena) for data storage, processing, and analysis.
• Continuously improve and innovate data infrastructure by researching and applying new technologies and best practices.
• Document data processes, technical specifications, and metadata for easy reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelorʼs or Masterʼs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Basic understanding of AWS cloud technology (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation. Familiarity with Pandas or other Python-based ETL tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
