As coordinators, our role is to plan and manage activities in the design center. Taking a macro perspective, we help define overall direction and tempo to help the teams work better together. As designers, we are problem solvers, however our focus tends to be more organization-scale, less project-scale. Our responsibilities include designing & running new processes to facilitate collaboration and deliver innovation.
As communicators, our role is to promote the design team’s value internally and externally. Internally, we are responsible for communicating the value of design generally with marketing and sales teams as we build up a more design driven, user-centric culture. Externally, we are responsible for communicating the value of the products we design with media, customers and others.
1. Experienced in business model design, analysis, and implementation
2. Able to demonstrate mastery of the human-centric design process
3. Comfortable working in a diverse environment with high pressure
4. Adaptive to fast-pace working mode and constantly changing objectives
5. Excellent in knowledge of multiple design realms
6. Outstanding in verbal and written communication skills
7. Excellent in understanding and creating strategy at branding/product/design levels
8. Acute in all trends including market, technology, design and business. Capable to gather insights to make logical and intuitive analysis
9. A Bachelor degree in design related fields and a Master degree in either design or business. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in these areas. Expertise in consumer & electronics is preferred
10. Capable to work both independently and in a team for the utmost benefit of the team and project
11. Willing to go at any length to achieve a goal 12. With a great sense of humor and willing to work with people
